What is Health & Wellness Coaching?
As a coach, I partner with clients to help them make realistic changes to their everyday life that bring them closer to their own values and vision of well-being. Whatever the client’s focus, I serve as an advocate and thought partner, facilitating the client’s own introspection and learning to discover their personal path to well-being through sustainable, healthy lifestyle change. The entire process centers on the client: their vision of health, personal strengths, and knowledge of self. Health & Wellness Coaching leverages these insights to ensure the client establishes meaningful goals, realistic action plans, and effective accountability—all keys to sustaining long-term, healthy habits.
What focus areas can Health & Wellness Coaching help with?
Any area of your life where you would like support in setting practical goals and building an action plan around your busy life, as well as an accountability partner is a great opportunity for health & wellness coaching. While I specialize in supporting cancer patients & caregivers manage their stress & well-being, their desired areas of focus vary widely and can include topics such as: increasing movement & exercise, introducing healthier foods, reinvesting in relationships, improving sleep hygiene, starting a mindfulness practice, or even tidying up your home. Perhaps you got a recent medical diagnosis or experience a chronic condition where certain changes in lifestyle would benefit you. Health & Wellness Coaching provides a proven approach to empower clients to make the self-directed changes they desire for a better life.
